Eugene Ormandy

Eugene Ormandy worked on a variety of projects during her entertainment career. She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Eugene Ormandy Conducts the Philadelphia Orchestra" (PBS, 1977-78) and "Ormandy Conducts: Pictures at an Exhibition" (PBS, 1981-82). In the early stages of her Hollywood career, Ormandy held acting roles in films like "Night Song" (1947). In the eighties and the early 2000s, Ormandy devoted her time to various credits, such as "A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy" with Woody Allen (1982), "V.I. Warshawski" with Kathleen Turner (1991) and the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis smash hit "True Lies" (1994). She also worked on "The Evening Star" (1996). Ormandy was most recently credited in the Leonardo DiCaprio smash hit biographical drama "The Aviator" (2004). Ormandy passed away in March 1985 at the age of 86.
