The owner of a company calls Barnaby in to investigate after one of the members of the Board of Directors dies in a plane crash, shortly after leaving him a mysterious message hinting at possible troubles within his company.

Barnaby investigates a woman who has set out to exact vengeance on the two men she blames for her fathers suicide. After killing the first one she is double crossed by the second one and her boyfriend in order to gain control of her assets.
