Now that Addie's spending lots of time with her new boyfriend, Randy, Geena and Zach feel left out in the cold. Addie must find a way to balance her boyfriend and her friends.

The "Green Eyed Monster" gets a hold of Addie when she learns of the new nickname the Rocky Road Middle School girls have for Randy: "Eye Candy Randy Klein!"

Randy Klein's Bar Mitzvah promises to be the party of the year. But Addie refuses to go - there's no way she'll be seen in public with her new braces! It would be a disaster. Addie is all settled in for the night, when Geena calls from the Bar Mitzvah, sobbing. She's just been dumped by her boyfriend. Addie must suck up her own insecurities and fly to her friend's side to help. And who knows? Maybe the night won't be a total disaster after all.

Grad Week, the last days of seventh grade, finds Addie avoiding marauding eight graders and her own feelings for Jake.

Addie's dream of having the perfect dance with Jake is ruined when she floods the gym and the first dance of 8th grade is cancelled.  To raise money to fix the gym, Addie decides to hold the First Ever Rocky Road Middle School Bachelor Auction.  But when a newly made-over Mary Ferry bids on Jake to be her date to the dance, it's up to Addie set things right so she can make her dream dance with Jake a reality.

Addie is surprised to learn the guys have been playing min-golf without inviting the girls. She becomes obsessed with finding out what goes on at "Man Golf."
