American model and personality Evelyn Lozada, who is of Puerto Rican ascendency, was born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx. Known for her role in "Basketball Wives" (VH1, 2010-), she went on to star in her own reality show, "Livin' Lozada" (Oprah Winfrey Network, 2015-16), with her daughter. She also made an appearance on "Iyanla: Fix My Life" (Oprah Winfrey Network, 2012-21) and "Queens Court" (Peacock, 2023-). Besides her roles on TV, Lozada is also known for her activism, having contributed to campaigns for PETA and raising money for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors.
