Galina Vishnevskaya

Actress Galina Vishnevskaya appeared on the big screen many times over the course of her Hollywood career. Vishnevskaya began her career with roles in "Eugene Onegin" (1958) with Ariadne Shengelaya, "Katerina Izmailova" (1967) and "Musicians For Armenia" (1988-89). Later, she acted in "Soldiers of Music: Rostropovich Returns to Russia" (PBS, 1990-91) and "A Salute to Slava" (PBS, 1994-95). Later in her career, Vishnevskaya acted in "Alexandra" (2008). Vishnevskaya passed away in December 2012 at the age of 86.
