Season Three Premiere. Three years after Miracle, Texas was overrun by the Guilty Remnant, Kevin Garvey has returned to his role as chief of police. Although he seems to have moved past the incredible events surrounding his "resurrection," the Seventh Anniversary of the Sudden Departure is just two weeks away and many believe another apocalyptic event may come with it.

When Kahlan's feelings for Richard begin to compromise her mission, she sets off in search of another Confessor to guide the Seeker. In the meantime, Richard and Zedd are attacked by a group of D'Haran soldiers and a Mord'Sith named Denna. After capturing Richard, Denna attempts to coerce him into joining forces with the evil Darken Rahl.
