Larry Tate invites Samantha and Darrin to a buffet for prospective client Charles Barlow. When they complain about the condition of their clothes, Aunt Clara uses magic to produce a dress for Samantha and a new suit for Darrin, who invites her along to the affair. Once there, Aunt Clara removes a fire hydrant so Darrin can park. At the party, Samantha?s dress begins to vanish and Aunt Clara's other magical efforts begin to disintegrate.

Marshal Dillon is forced to send to prison a man he believes innocent of the crime for which he will be hanged.

Baseball manager Leo Durocher’s problems in finding a hard –hitting ball player to round out his team are solved after he is hit in the head by a baseball that was struck from a ball-park eight blocks away. Durocher investigates the area and learns that the ball was hit by Herman Munster who was teaching his son how to play ball at the time.

At the Norco Energy Research Commission a cleaning lady is finishing her midnight chores. As she vacuums her machine picks up a small inanimate black mass.
