George Douglas

George Douglas was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Douglas started off his career in film with roles in the western "Pals of the Saddle" (1938) with John Wayne, the Ralph Byrd action movie "Dick Tracy's G-Men" (1939) and the drama "Let Us Live" (1939) with Maureen O'Sullivan. Douglas made film his next project, appearing in "The Night Riders" (1939) with John Wayne, the crime feature "Hold That Woman" (1940) with James Dunn and "Riders of the Santa Fe" (1944) with Rod Cameron. He also appeared in "A Double Life" (1947) and the Allison Hayes horror feature "Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman" (1958). Douglas was most recently credited in the Emilio Estevez drama "That Was Then...This Is Now" (1985). Douglas passed away in June 1983 at the age of 80.
