George Maguire

Actor George Maguire appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Maguire began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the James Woods crime picture "True Believer" (1989), "Heart and Souls" (1993) and the Christian Slater drama "Murder in the First" (1995). He also starred in the TV movies "The King of Love" (1987-88), "Danielle Steel's "Fine Things"" (NBC, 1990-91) and "The Last of His Tribe" (HBO, 1991-92). He continued to act in productions like the dramatic comedy "Dream With the Fishes" (1997) with David Arquette, the Michael Douglas mystery thriller "The Game" (1997) and the action flick "Fight Club" (1999) with Edward Norton. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Stolen Innocence" (CBS, 1995-96). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Nash Bridges" (CBS, 1995-2001). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "The Sweetest Thing" (2002) with Cameron Diaz, the Will Smith blockbuster dramatic adaptation "The Pursuit of Happyness" (2006) and the crime feature "The Zodiac" (2006) with Robin Tunney. Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Hercules Saves Christmas" (Animal Planet, 2011-12). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Division" (Lifetime, 2000-04). Maguire most recently acted in "Yosemite" (2016).
