Incident of the Grandmas Money
Rowdy Yates, sent to collect payment on 300 head of cattle, meets a little old "grandma" with larceny on her mind. Acting on orders from trail boss Gil Favor, ramrod Rowdy Yates delivers 300 head of cattle to the Lazy "A" ranch of Col. Horatio Agee, but discovers that the colonel has recently married and is honeymooning in Indian Springs. Rowdy leaves the cattle and heads for the spa to collect the money personally. En route, he comes upon Mrs. Abigail Briggs, an elderly lady whose carriage is stalled in a pool of mud. He maneuvers the carriage back on dry ground and agrees to accompany "grandma" to Indian Springs. Rowdy doesn't know that "grandma" has stolen the carriage from Col. Agee that her "life savings" are the new Mrs. Agee's jewels and that her knitting needles can pick any lock in existence. He doesn't realize that this "kind old lady" is a thief until she burgles the Indian Springs bank and he is arrested for the crime.
