Hettienne Park

With an academic background in economics and religion studies, as well as formal training in flute and piano, Hettienne Park could have traversed a variety of different occupational paths. However, it was Park's passion for acting that ultimately led her to the career she was meant to explore. After a number of minor parts across the small screen crime drama genre, Park was primed to become a regular player on "Hannibal" (NBC 2013-15). Although her tenure as Special Agent Beverly Katz lasted only two seasons, Park's time on the psychological thriller did wonders to showcase her talent for the darkest ends of the spectrum. Hettienne Park was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Well rounded in her interests, Park studied economics and religion at the University of Rochester, flute and piano at the New England Conservatory of Music, and acting at the Wilhelm Esper Studio. The latter pursuit began her career, with minor appearances on crime drama TV series like "Hack" (CBS 2002-04), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC 1999-), "Law & Order" (NBC 1990-2010), and "Numb3rs" (CBS 2005-2010). Park jumped quickly to big screen roles, making her film debut in "Never Forever" (2007), and then going on to appear in "Year of the Fish" (2007), "Bride Wars" (2009), and "Young Adult" (2011). Park's biggest role so far came to life along with the premiere of the critically esteemed crime drama series "Hannibal" (NBC 2013-15). Park portrayed Special Agent Beverly Katz, fiber analysis expert, for the first two seasons of the series.
