Hugh Simon

Hugh Simon was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. At the beginning of his acting career, Simon was featured in dramas like "A Handful of Dust" (1988) starring James Wilby and "Tom & Viv" (1994) starring Willem Dafoe. He also appeared in the TV movie "Star Trap" (1989-1990). Simon worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Highlander: The Series" (1992-98). He also appeared in the TV special "Prime Suspect: The Scent of Darkness" (PBS, 1995-96). He also landed roles in the miniseries "Longitude" (1999-2000) and "Vanity Fair" (1999-2000). Simon focused on film in more recent years, appearing in "Possession" (2002) with Gwyneth Paltrow and the Emily Blunt dramatic adaptation "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" (2012). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Shackleton" (2001-02). Simon most recently acted in "MI-5" (2015) with Peter Firth.
