After tracking stolen Navy TNT to a cocaine warehouse, Special Agent Pride and the NCIS team uncovers a domestic drug ring that is producing their own cocaine and headed by Sonja's childhood friend, Marion Watkins (Samaire Armstrong).

The NCIS team places Mateo Diaz (Octavio Rodriguez), a high school gang member turned informant, in protective custody while they investigate the murder of his junior reserve officers' training corps instructor. Also, Pride needs his brother Jimmy Boyd's (Jason Alan Carvell) help to gain Mateo's trust.

Mary initiates the second act of the Grand Rite. Alden returns to Salem.

Jamie contacts a fellow journalist in an attempt to expose the truth about Reiden's involvement in the global animal problem. After realizing Delavenne works for Reiden, Mitch escapes with both the Mother Cell and his daughter's medication. However, on their way to deliver the medication, Mitch and Abraham come face-to-face with a terrifying army of birds.
