Java Benson

Java Benson was an actor and musician who performed both on and off-screen over the duration of his Hollywood career. Benson's acting career began with roles on several shows, including "NYPD Blue" (1993-2005) and "City of Angels" (CBS, 1999-2001). He continued to work steadily in television dramas throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "Boston Public" (Fox, 2000-04), "The District" (CBS, 2000-04) and "The Guardian" (CBS, 2001-04). More recently, he earned a role in "Baby Boy" (2001) with Tyrese Gibson. Benson most recently acted in "Thirteen" (2003).
