Bonded messenger Henry Wigram conspires with John Grolier to fake a holdup. But Grolier kills Wigram and flees with a $20,000 payroll! When Highway Patrol finds Wigram's body, it's Dan's job to tell Wigram's wife the bad news. But surprisingly, she takes the news very calmly...too calmly.
