Doug's plan temporarily works until Carrie decides she and Doug need to start exercising more. Meanwhile, when Arthur realizes he wasn't around that much during Carrie's childhood, he attempts to superimpose himself into some of her baby pictures.

When O'Boyle checks himself into rehab and asks Doug and Deacon to fill in, Doug initially tells Deacon to take the job by himself and he'll continue to be a driver. But when he discovers that Carrie thinks he's content with driving a delivery truck for the rest of life, Doug asks Deacon to allow him to be supervisor so he can prove her wrong. However, Doug quickly realizes he might not be cut out to be a supervisor when he starts losing complete control of the office. Meanwhile, Carrie decides to show her bosses that she has moxie by complaining about the company holiday gift, only to have her plan backfire.
