Jeremy Clyde

Jeremy Clyde was widely known for his acting on the big screen. Clyde started off his acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in "Invitation to the Wedding" (1973), "Silver Bears" (1978) and "ffolkes" (1980) with Roger Moore. He also appeared in the TV movie "Charles & Diana: A Royal Love Story" (ABC, 1982-83). Clyde worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "The Pallisers" (PBS, 1976-77). He kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in "Wilt" (1990) with Mel Smith, "Splitting Heirs" (1993) with Rick Moranis and "Kaspar Hauser" (1996). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Campaign" (1988-89). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Catherine Deneuve action picture "The Musketeer" (2001) and the period drama "The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey" (2005) with Aamir Khan. Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Holocaust on Trial" (PBS, 2000-01). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Ashes to Ashes" (BBC, undefined). Most recently, Clyde acted in the biopic drama "The Iron Lady" (2011) with Meryl Streep.
