Doc Martin’s plans to resume his career as a consultant in London are put on hold following the birth of the birth of the baby he fathered with his now estranged partner, Louisa Glasson. He also has serious concerns about his replacement, Dr. Diana Dibbs, after the new GP misdiagnoses a patient and takes a careless approach to prescribing medications. But family drama and professional uncertainty are overshadowed by a tragic and unexpected death.
