Jimmy Witherspoon

Jimmy Witherspoon brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Witherspoon's earlier music appeared in such dramatic films as "Trouble in Mind" (1985) with Kris Kristofferson and Keith Carradine. Witherspoon's music was featured in some big screen flicks, such as "Trouble in Mind" (1985). In addition to his music, Witherspoon appeared in "The Black Godfather" (1974) with Rod Perry. In the nineties and the early 2000s, Witherspoon's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the crime drama "B. Monkey" (1999) with Asia Argento and the Om Puri dramatic adaptation "My Son the Fanatic" (1999). Witherspoon's music was most recently featured in the horror film "Fido" (2007) with Henry Czerny.
