After countless mystery box, team and skills challenges, it all comes down to this. The final three home cooks will each prepare a three-course meal with ingredients of their choosing. After evaluating the final dishes, the judges will reveal America’s next MASTERCHEF, who will walk away with a MASTERCHEF trophy and a check for $250,000. The top four contestants are visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Future and Presents, who deliver mystery boxes containing ingredients inspired by Aarón’s favorite holiday dishes from Mexico, and MasterChef Judge Joe Bastianich visits as “Joe-benezer Scrooge” to add a sweet twist into the challenge.
