While Liz (Tina Fey) and Pete (Scott Adsit) try to rig the audition process, Tracy (Tracy Morgan) and Jenna (Jane Krakowski) decide it’s in their best interest to conduct their own search for a new "TGS" actor. Amidst the audition chaos, Jack (Alec Baldwin) faces a more personal issue. Jack McBrayer, Judah Friedlander and Keith Powell also star.

Liz (Tina Fey) tries desperately not to catch the flu, but it’s spreading amongst the “TGS” cast and crew quickly and Jack (Alec Baldwin) is being selective about who receives vaccinations from Dr. Spaceman (guest star Chris Parnell). One is offered to Liz, but she refuses to take it, championing for the rights of the crew. Meanwhile, Elisa (guest star Salma Hayek) is working seven days a week, so Jack must be creative about finding ways to spend time with her. Also stars Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer, Katrina Bowden and Scott Adsit.

When Liz (Tina Fey) and Danny (Cheyenne Jackson) further their relationship, Jack (Alec Baldwin) becomes jealous and plans to break them apart. Meanwhile, Tracy (Tracy Morgan) recruits Sue (Sue Galloway) into his entourage, and Jenna (Jane Krakowski) auditions for a role on "Gossip Girl." Also starring: Jack McBrayer (Kenneth), Scott Adsit (Pete), Judah Friedlander (Frank), Keith Powell (Toofer), John Lutz (Lutz), Katrina Bowden (Cerie), Kevin Brown (Dotcom), and Grizz Chapman (Grizz).

Arnold Zachary, owner of a successful clothing factory, is found beaten to death in his office. Even though he ran a "sweat shop," he was much more pleasant than most bosses and his employees were not disgruntled. A security tape shows the killer arriving and leaving but it's difficult to see his face. But Detectives Briscoe and Green canvass the employees to see if there were any problems. One of his workers, Maria Villanueva, just had a baby and had a longer than usual maternity leave. They talk to her and Briscoe holds the baby, who drools on his shirt, therefore supplying the DNA to determine the victim is the baby's father. Now they think Maria's boyfriend, Miguel Comacho, is the killer for obvious reasons. They pick up Miguel and his English isn't very good but he's still mirandized in English and then confesses to killing Arnold.

The jungle heats up -- Lorraine Bracco guest stars -- Wendy Healy (Brooke Shields) enjoys the box office success of her company's most recent movie, but not for long. Wendy finds out that a novel has been submitted for publication, promoted by her nemesis, Janice Lasher (guest star, Lorraine Bracco), defacing her as an empowered businesswoman and, even worse in her eyes, a bad mother. Elsewhere, Nico's (Kim Raver) relationship with Kirby (Robert Buckley) gets hotter, and instills Nico with this liberating mentality to shake things up around the office. Meanwhile, Victory (Lindsay Price) is troubled with the recent downsizing of her company to just one employee, herself. However, she is very intrigued by her new man, Joe Bennett (Andrew McCarthy), who is turning out to be a much different man than she imagined. Paul Blackthorne and Julian Sands also star.
