Joey Aresco

If you have watched any television between 1973 and 2010, there is an excellent chance you have seen Joey Aresco, even if you don't know his name. The actor's Roman good looks have allowed him to play a wide range of roles in movies and television shows for years, though rarely as a star performer. He's perhaps best known for playing Sgt. John David "Hutch" Hutchinson on the World War II aviator adventure, "Baa Baa Black Sheep" (later renamed "Black Sheep Squadron"), although his character was killed off during the show's first season. Movie buffs who grew up in the 1990s may remember Aresco in the benign caper, "Little Cobras: Operation Dalmatian," where he starred with gangly Richard Moll of "Night Court" fame. In between those two highlights, Aresco appeared in dozens of TV shows both classic ("Dallas," "St. Elsewhere") and forgettable (all aboard NBC's "Love Boat"-inspired, "Supertrain"). He's also scored small roles in movies, including the World War II drama, "Swing Shift."
