John Garrick

John Garrick was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Garrick started off his career in film with roles in the J Harold Murray adaptation "Married in Hollywood" (1929), "Are You There?" (1930) and "Just Imagine" (1930) with El Brendel. Later, he acted in "Song O' My Heart" (1930), "The Lottery Bride" (1930) and the Elissa Landi drama "Always Goodbye" (1931). He also appeared in the drama "Bad Company" (1931) with Helen Twelvetrees, "Charlie Chan Carries On" (1931) and the Allan Jones biopic "The Great Victor Herbert" (1939). Later in his career, Garrick worked on "The Best Defense" (ABC, 1994-95). Garrick passed away in October 1996 at the age of 94.
