Herman amazes Eddie and a young fiend when he proves his strength by tying knots in an iron poker. Eddie’s friend later shows the knotted poker to his father who makes a living by managing professional wrestlers. The father sees great potential in Herman as a wrestler and decides to give him a call.

A girl is picked up by a drunk driver who hits a truck and escapes. When the girl is charged with manslaughter, her best friend plays spy for Perry Mason to find out how a movie producer is involved.

Cissy thinks Bill is trying to get rid of her.

When Bill gets Cissy her own phone and arranges for an interior decorator to redo Cissy's and Buffy's bedroom, Buffy becomes withdrawn as the changes appear to separate the room and, as a result, she fears Cissy is separating from her.

Garbled communications make Bill panicky about what's going on at home while he's away.

Cissy's cynical chum tells her that Bill's girlfriend is trying to trap him.
