John Stanton

Actor John Stanton appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Early on, Stanton mostly landed roles in various films, including "Kitty and the Bagman" (1982), "Run, Rebecca, Run!" (1982) and the dramatic adventure "Dusty" (1983) with Bill Kerr. He also appeared in "Phar Lap" (1983). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Homicide" (1973-74). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Morris West's The Naked Country" (1985), "Tai-Pan" (1986) and "Fists of Blood" (1987). He also appeared in "Great Expectations - The Untold Story" (1987) and "Day of the Panther" (1988). Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in "Rent-A-Cop" (1988) with Burt Reynolds, "Vacant Possession" (1995) and "Darkness Falls" (2003) with Chaney Kley. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Snowy River: The McGregor Saga" (Family Channel Studios, 1993-97). Most recently, Stanton appeared in "Childhood's End" (2015).
