Johnny Seven
Johnny Seven was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. Seven began his acting career with roles in the series "Death Valley Days" (1952-1972), "Gunsmoke" (CBS, 1955-1975) and "The Phil Silvers Show" (CBS, 1955-59). He also appeared in "Naked City" (ABC, 1958-1963) and "Bonanza" (NBC, 1959-1973). During the early stages of his Hollywood career, Seven mainly held acting roles in films like the Mickey Rooney dramatic adaptation "The Last Mile" (1959). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the drama "Guns of the Timberland" (1960) with Alan Ladd, the Jack Lemmon comedic drama "The Apartment" (1960) and "The Music Box Kid" (1960). He also appeared in "The Boy Who Caught a Crook" (1961) with Wanda Hendrix, "The Greatest Story Ever Told" (1965) and "What Did You Do in the War, Daddy?" (1966). He also was featured in the TV movie "Murder at the World Series" (ABC, 1976-77). Seven acted in films like "Gunfight in Abilene" (1967) with Bobby Darin and "The Love God?" (1969) with Don Knotts. He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Charlie's Angels" (ABC, 1976-1981) and "CHiPs" (NBC, 1977-1983). Seven last acted on "Can't Hurry Love" (CBS, 1995-96). Seven passed away in January 2010 at the age of 84.
