José Quintero

José Benjamín Quintero Palmerola was a Panamanian-American theatre director, producer, and pedagogue. He was best known for his interpretations of the works of Eugene O'Neill, and for co-founding the Circle in the Square Theatre. He was the winner of two Tony Awards, one for Best Direction of a Play and one for Best Play, out of five total nominations.
