When Leslie (Amy Poehler) finds out Jerry (Jim O’Heir) is retiring, she struggles with the proper way to commemorate the occasion. Chris (Rob Lowe) and Ann (Rashida Jones) prepare to have a baby together, while Tom (Aziz Ansari) worries he will become the office punching bag once Jerry leaves.

A dead body is discovered in the store on Halloween, throwing Glenn (Mark McKinney) and Dina (Lauren Ash) into a panic, and confusing the shoppers. Meanwhile, Amy (America Ferrera) and Garrett (Colton Dunn) get into big trouble using a dating app on Jonah's (Ben Feldman) phone.

The Nine-Nine host the detectives from the Nine-Eight, their neighboring precinct, reuniting Jake with his old partner (guest star Damon Wayans, Jr.). Charles is immediately jealous and tries to reclaim his best friend status with Jake. Meanwhile, the rest of the precinct tries to be welcoming to the Nine-Eight, but it doesn’t go as well as they had planned.

Penny (Casey Wilson) tries to change a guy to better suit her tastes, while Brad (Damon Wayans, Jr.) rebels against Jane’s (Eliza Coupe) influence on his life. Meanwhile, Max (Adam Pally) and Alex (Elisha Cuthbert) accuse Dave (Zachary Knighton) of being addicted to V-neck shirts.
