When Beckett and her team burst into an apartment on a murderer's trail, they see Castle standing over a dead woman's body holding a gun; Beckett arrests Castle as he asserts his innocence.

Chris works up the courage to ask Tasha to be his girlfriend and is surprised when she accepts. Unfortunately, Chris had no clue that being a boyfriend entailed giving up all his free time and only doing things that Tasha wants to do.

Against orders, Beckett travels to Los Angeles while investigating her ex-partner's murder; Castle questions Beckett's motives.

The Book Fair comes to Fillmore and Ms. Snap is inspired to be an author. Ms. Bennigan, Ms. Watson, and Mrs. Adler enjoy gawking when they hire a moving company called Moving Hunks.
