The Racer: Jack Kincade was a racing driver until a crash ended his career and left him with a limp. His fantasy is to recreate that crash, so he can conquer his nightmares. When Jack's wife, Rachel, and his son, Patrick, discover what he is doing they are worried and ask him not to go through with it. But, when his son tells him that some people thought he lost his nerve, he gets in the car and drives the track before anyone can stop him.
