Laurent Malet

Laurent Malet was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Malet began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Les Liens de sang" (1977), the Yves Montand drama "Les Routes du Sud" (1978) and "Haro" (1978). He also appeared in "La Legion saute sur kolwezi" (1979), "Bobo Jacco" (1979) and "L' Homme en colere" (1979). He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in the drama "Querelle" (1982) with Brad Davis, the drama "A Mort l'Arbitre" (1983) with Michel Serrault and "Cuore" (1984). He also appeared in the dramatic fantasy "Viva la Vie!" (1984) with Charlotte Rampling. Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in "Les Possedes" (1988), "The Free Frenchman" (1990) and "Arthur Rimbaud" (1996). He also appeared in the dramatic comedy "Le Plus Beau Pays du Monde" (1999) with Claude Brasseur and "Ce Jour-la" (2003) with Bernard Giraudeau. Malet most recently worked on the Liam Neeson hit action picture "Taken 2" (2012).
