Lex Medlin

A comedy actor in television and films, Lex Medlin is best known for starring in the FOX sitcom "Happy Hour." Medlin attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts before becoming a commercial actor, appearing in campaigns for Geico, Kia, and T-Mobile. His first television role came in 1993, with a role in the popular teen drama "Beverly Hills, 90201." In 1999, Medlin appeared in the paranormal drama "Charmed," starring Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan, and later acted in an episode of the hit NBC comedy "Friends." The next year, he starred as Tyler in the short "Film Club." After spots in the comedies "Jack & Jill" and "Titus," Medlin had recurring roles in the CBS sitcom "Still Standing" and UPN's "Rock Me, Baby." He co-starred in the 2004 comedy "Mating Rituals" and starred in the 2005 short war film "The Hot Sand," which he also produced. From 2006 to 2008, Medlin starred as Larry Cone on FOX's "Happy Hour," subsequently appearing in episodes of the same network's medical drama "Mental," TNT's police procedural "The Closer," FX's hit comedy "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," and Ray Romano's comedy drama "Men of a Certain Age." He also played Detective Andy Williams on the NBC crime drama "Southland," detailing the lives of Los Angeles police officers and detectives.
