Lucas Till

By 2011 Till turned away from being "the boy girls crush on" and started taking roles of "boys who get to do cool stuff." That year he joined the financially successful but critically panned "Battle: Los Angeles" as a Marine corporal fighting against an alien invasion, and was chosen to portray the energy-blasting Havok in the high-profile hit "X-Men: First Class." He next produced and starred in the low-budget superhero film "Vs," mainly as a way to keep working when other offers weren't coming in, and was cast as a school bully who gets his comeuppance in the off-kilter horror film "Stoker," starring Mia Wasikowska as a teen who develops an unhealthy relationship with her mysterious uncle (Matthew Goode). After co-starring in the thriller "Sins of Our Youth" (filmed in 2014 but unreleased until two years later), Till returned to the franchise that made his name with appearances in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" (2014) and "X-Men: Apocalypse" (2016) before co-starring in psychological horror "The Disappointments Room." Till moved to television with his starring role as Angus MacGyver on the reboot series "MacGyver" (CBS 2016-).
