Roseanne discovers her inner feminist when an invitation from Darlene's school to Dan for career day inspires her to speak to Darlene's class about being a homemaker.

An apparent suicide turns out to be murder as Briscoe and Curtis investigate the death of a woman who jumped from a bridge (in front of numerous bystanders) to avoid a crazed attacker with whom she was apparently involved in a fender-bender. When they are unable to convict, McCoy and Ross dig deeper and discover that the 'accident' might not have been so accidental after all. Meanwhile, Detective Curtis (Benjamin Bratt) is tossed out of his house after admitting to his wife that he had an affair.

The last words "I didn't want to do it" of a young actress found dying of a drug overdose leads the detectives to an aggressive stage mother and a pornographic movie producer. While the detectives discover that the mother dominated her daughter's life to such a degree that the mother even sent her daughter to a drug dealer for drugs to calm her during production of a pornographic movie, the mother still cannot see how she was to blame.

When a woman is found unconscious at the bottom of her apartment stairs, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Curtis (Benjamin Bratt) must figure out what happened -- before it's too late. In order to make his case, McCoy (Sam Waterston) pits Briscoe and Curtis against each other in the courtroom. Carey Lowell, S. Epatha Merkerson and Steven Hill also star.

Frasier's younger secretary goes on a date with him to get revenge on her parents.

Brandon goes undercover for The Blaze, hoping to expose steroid use within the athletics team. Unfortunately, his expose threatens to shine light on more than a corrupt athletics department.
