Mary Morris

Mary Morris was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Morris started her acting career landing roles in such films as "The Double Door" (1934), the adaptation "Prison Without Bars" (1938) with Corinne Luchaire and "The Thief of Bagdad" (1940). Following that project, Morris worked on the television programs "The Prisoner" (CBS, 1967-69) and "Anna Karenina" (PBS, 1977-78). As her entertainment career progressed, she appeared in the Mia Farrow horror flick "Full Circle" (1977). Morris was most recently credited in "America's Music: The Roots of Country" (TBS, 1995-96). Morris had a number of different projects under her belt in the seventies through the nineties, including "Richard II" (PBS, 1978-79), "Shades of Darkness" (PBS, 1983-84) and "Conquering Space" (1990) starring Nora Heflin. Morris passed away in October 1988 at the age of 73.
