Bat is asked to take half interest in the Long Branch Saloon to help make it profitable. He does so by hiring a female piano player but a crooked mayor and Marshal force him to create the Dodge City Peace Commission to clean up the town.

Bat is undercover to break up a gang of highly respected businessmen in Cheyenne. He has to work himself into their group to be the fall guy. His task becomes dangerous when the only man who knows of his assignment dies of a heart attack.

Joey is fired and plans to tell off his boss.

Ellie, Hilda, and the baby, Joey Jr. go visit Ellie's folks back home.

Mrs. Barnes rents out the extra room to a bookie and the place gets raided.

Ellie gets a traffic ticket for an illegal left turn but insists that she is innocent.
