An enraged and irascible Dr. John Becker (Ted Danson) enters the diner in his typical bad mood and sends the patrons fleeing. After railing to the diner's sexy new owner, Reggie (Terry Farrell), about television talk shows and life in general, Becker complains that his car is on its last leg.
