Michael Vallon

Michael Vallon was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Vallon appeared in such films as "Death Rides the Range" (1940), the western "Lightning Strikes West" (1940) with Ken Maynard and the western "Boss of Hangtown Mesa" (1942) with Johnny Mack Brown. He also appeared in "Bad Men of Thunder Gap" (1943). He continued to act in productions like "Batman" (1943), "Border Buckaroos" (1943) and the Johnny Mack Brown western "The Lone Star Trail" (1943). He also appeared in "Gunsmoke Mesa" (1944). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the western "Marshal of Gunsmoke" (1944) with Tex Ritter, the western "Trigger Trail" (1944) with Rod Cameron and the western "Barbed Wire" (1952) with Gene Autry. He also appeared in the Ginger Rogers crime picture "Black Widow" (1954). Vallon more recently acted in "Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy" (1955) with Bud Abbott. Vallon passed away in November 1973 at the age of 76.
