While returning home from school with a young friend, Eddie is surprised to learn that his friend is planning to run away from home to live in the woods. According to the boy, his parents are "mean", and he refuses to believe that Eddie is happy in his own home. He advises Eddie to take a better look at his parents and to join him that night.
