Mikie Sherrill

Rebecca Michelle Sherrill is an American politician, former naval officer, and former federal prosecutor serving since 2026 as the 57th governor of New Jersey. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Sherrill was first elected to office in 2018, winning the election for New Jersey's 11th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. She was reelected in 2020, 2022, and 2024. She was elected governor in 2025.
