Morris Day

Actor-musician Morris Day made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Heart and Soul" (NBC, 1987-88) and "The Minneapolis Sound" (PBS, 1988-89). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "New Attitude" (ABC, 1989-1990). In the nineties, he acted in the Prince musical sequel "Graffiti Bridge" (1990) and the action film "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane" (1990) with Andrew Dice Clay. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Moesha" (UPN, 1995-2001). Morris Day's music was most recently used in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" (2008). Morris Day had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "A Woman Like That" with Tyra Banks (1997), "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" with Jason Mewes (2001) and the Steve Martin and Queen Latifah smash hit "Bringing Down the House" (2003). His credits also expanded to "Eve" (UPN, 2003-06) and "Love Don't Cost a Thing" (2003).
