Myron Selznick
Worked his way up through the industry's ranks until he served as chief of production of his father's studio, Selznick Pictures. Following the studio's collapse, Selznick tried his hand at independent production before emerging in the late 1920s as one of Hollywood's most powerful agents, brokering deals between studios and his impressive line-up of stars, directors and writers. Son of Lewis Selznick and brother of David O. Selznick.
