The drive picks up four stranded sisters, then must fight a band of hide traders to cross a river; guest Abby Dalton.

Joe Quince tries running Jan and Woody Larkin out of town. Joe wants the store they inherited from their father, but they won't sell. In the midst of this danger, Bat Masterson agrees to teach Woody how to handle a gun.

Doc Holliday is very sick with his wife Kate threatening to leave him since he won't follow anyone's instructions to get better. Earp convinces him he should reform to keep Kate. The reformed Doc with no liquor and guns keeps Earp busy.

A rancher (Viveca Lindfors), obsessed with breaking a stallion that crippled her daughter, lures Rowdy to do the job.
