Netta Packer

Netta Packer was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Packer found her beginnings in film with roles in "Condemned Women" (1938) and the dramatic adaptation "Life Begins at Eight-Thirty" (1942) with Monty Woolley. Packer next focused her career on film, appearing in the drama "Born to Kill" (1947) with Claire Trevor, the crime picture "Desperate" (1947) with Steve Brodie and the Bonita Granville mystery "The Guilty" (1947). She also appeared in the comedy "Good Sam" (1948) with Gary Cooper. Later in her career, Packer acted in the Glenn Ford comedy "It Started With a Kiss" (1959). Packer passed away in November 1962 at the age of 67.
