With the victim in a coma, the squad races to identify and account for her prior whereabouts. They uncover a wild side to an otherwise normal wife and mother, and the investigation reaches an unsettling conclusion.

In the second season finale, Reese and Finch team up with some surprising allies in a race to save The Machine from a familiar, nefarious entity; and the true nature of Finch's relationship with former partner Nathan Ingram is revealed. Meanwhile, Carter tries to bring Beecher's murderer to justice and finds herself at odds with the criminal organization HR.

Owen helps Val understand the truth about her first encounter with Elena. As Doak becomes a pawn in Elena's game, Val discovers the link between Elena's targets.
