Nick Mullen

American comedian Nicholas James Mullen was born in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Interested in comedy as a teen, Mullen started performing stand-up locally at the Wiseacres Comedy Club in Virginia. Continuing to hone his craft he toured nationally, opening for comedians such as Hannibal Buress, Jim Norton and Dana Gould. In 2010 he won Best of Fest for the Laugh Detroit festival. In 2012 he was named one of the New Faces Unrepped at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal. Mullen found popularity in the realm of podcasts, appearing as a guest on "Race Wars" (2013-21), and "Real Ass Podcast" (2019-). He also diversified into writing and performing for television, appearing on the Fox News Comedy show "Red Eye" (Fox News, 2007-17) and writing for "Comedy Knockout" (TruTV, 2016-18). He is perhaps most well-known for creating and co-hosting the podcast "Cum Town" (2016-22) with Stavros Halkias and Adam Friedland. After Halkias left to pursue his own comedy special, Mullen and Friedland reorganized a spin-off podcast "The The Adam Friedland Show" (2022-). In December 2023, Nick Mullen released his first comedy special, "Nick Mullen: The Year of the Dragon" (2023).
