Nicole Maurey

Nicole Maurey was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in her acting career, Maurey landed roles in various films, including "Little Boy Lost" (1953), "Diary of a Country Priest" (1954) and the Charlton Heston action picture "Secret of the Incas" (1954). She also appeared in the Rex Harrison comedy "The Constant Husband" (1955) and "The Bold and the Brave" (1956). She kept working in film throughout the fifties, starring in the Claudette Colbert period drama "Royal Affairs in Versailles" (1957), the comedy adaptation "Me and the Colonel" (1958) with Danny Kaye and the western "The Jayhawkers" (1959) with Jeff Chandler. She also appeared in "The Scapegoat" (1959) featuring Alec Guinness. During the latter part of her career, she continued to act in the musical comedy "High Time" (1960) with Bing Crosby, "The Day of the Triffids" (1963) and "Don't Bother to Knock" (1964). She also appeared in "Gloria" (1977). Maurey more recently acted in "Chanel Solitaire" (1981) with Marie-France Pisier.
