Beaver is going to be a panelist representing his school on the local TV show 'Teenage Forum.' However, didn't know that the tape won't be airing until the following week, so his friends and family get worried when they don't see him on TV. However, Ward calls the station and everything is worked out.

Beaver has the opportunity to go to Fallbrook which is a prep school. Beaver is excited to go until he learns that it is located in New England, and before he even leaves he begins to feel homesick.

Lucy is prepared to chaperone her daughter Chris and some of her school friends for a week at Sandy Cove. When Chris' school principle decides that one woman can't possibly chaperone all those girls Lucy recruits Viv to come along. While at the beach Lucy decides that the kids think that she and Viv are old foogys so they try to dress and act young, only to find out in the end that the kids would rather have their chaperones behave as adults.
