Peter Elbling

Peter Elbling worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Elbling started his entertainment career by acting in comedies like "Phantom of the Paradise" (1974) with Paul Williams and William Finley. He had an early role on the television special "The Plant Family" (CBS, 1978-79). He also was featured in the miniseries "The B*stard" (1977-78). In the eighties, Elbling devoted his time to various credits, such as "Baryshnikov By Tharp With American Ballet Theatre" (PBS, 1984-85). Elbling was nominated for an Outstanding Writing In a Variety or Music Program Primetime Emmy Award for "Motown Returns to the Apollo" in 1985. In the eighties and the nineties, Elbling lent his talents to projects like "The World's Funniest, Cleverest, Most Imaginative Commercials" (CBS, 1989-1990), "The Very Best of the Ed Sullivan Show" (CBS, 1990-91) and "The Very Best of The Ed Sullivan Show -- II" (CBS, 1991-92). His credits also expanded to "Holiday Greetings From the Ed Sullivan Show" (CBS, 1992-93) and "The Andy Griffith Show Reunion" (CBS, 1992-93). Most recently, Elbling appeared on "The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Movie Editing" (Starz, 2004-05).
