Phil Chambers

Phil Chambers was widely known for his acting on the big screen. Chambers kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the Glenn Ford crime flick "The Big Heat" (1953), the William Holden dramatic adaptation "Executive Suite" (1954) and the Randolph Scott western "The Bounty Hunter" (1954). He also appeared in the crime drama "Pushover" (1954) with Fred MacMurray, the crime feature "Rogue Cop" (1954) with Robert Taylor and the western "Rage at Dawn" (1955) with Randolph Scott. He continued to act in productions like the James Cagney drama "Run For Cover" (1955), the Dale Robertson western "A Day of Fury" (1956) and the sci-fi feature "The Mole People" (1956) with John Agar. He also appeared in "Drango" (1957). Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in "Six Black Horses" (1962) and "For Love or Money" (1963) with Kirk Douglas. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). Chambers most recently worked on "On the Beach" (1999-2000).
